Terence was born in India, is fluent in both English and Hindi, and came to Canada to study theater at Humber College in Toronto.  He was trained in numerous disciplines including:  Shakespeare, stage combat, movement, clown and voice, stilting and juggling.  Terence brought a unique look, accent and amazing eyes to A Thousand Hills.  The nephew of friends of the Bowes, he was considered for several parts in the movie.  The problem was not whether to use him, but which part would suit him best?  A perfectionist in his craft, he was never satisfied with his performances, but he beautifully captured the character of Phillip with his sinister manipulations and undertones.  The director praised him for his ‘temptation’ scene with Lauren, saying that it gave her chills to see her being lured by such a smooth evil character.  Terence added his own bits using his yes to express Phillip’s intentions, especially his glances (spike) right into the camera at the end of several of the scenes.  They all could have been removed in editing, but the effect was so ‘creepy’ as Allison, the director, called it, that they left them in.  He worked for the Canadian Stage Company as Valentine/Priest in Twelfth Night, Donalbaine in the Candy Factory production of Macbeth and  as Montano in Othello done by Double See Theatre Company.  In 2006 Terence returned to India and made film appearances in Tansen as Haridas which premiered at the South East Asian Film Festival, the lead in short film Heartbreaker.  He has also been onstage as the lead in The Afghan Women and now teaches drama at an international school.
